Sarah Combes: Guided meditation for relaxation and performance preparation in Drama. In-Person
Renowned theatre practitioner Konstantin Stanislavski described tension as the actor’s “occupational disease”. New York Method Acting pioneer Lee Strasberg concurred that tension was the actor’s greatest enemy, standing in the way of them performing to their full potential. Staff are invited to participate in a guided relaxation/visualization session used to assist drama students in releasing tension and prepare for an acting workshop.
